Jade beat over one thousand entrants to walk away with the title of The Model of the Year 2008. The Kerri Parker Academy ran 12 calendar girl contests, of which Jade won the Miss June contest and a place in the Model of the Year 2009 calendar. These 12 finalists joined 13 other finalists in the grand final, and competed in Clubwear, Swimwear and Evening wear rounds. Jade wowed all of the judges, including Steve Day the Thundersport GB television presenter, and Alban a photographer for The Sun and The Daily Star. Jade walked away with the highest scores of the evening, securing her place as the winner, and taking home over £10,000 worth of prizes! The judges loved Jade as she represented the perfect girl next door type model, she's sexy and funny but also shows a lot of personality and character which you don't find with many models. Jade's interview on stage during the final showed her bubbly personality, and she joked with the audience and the judges, and gave cheeky winks to them during the rounds! Everyone at the Academy was thrilled that Jade walked away with the title, as she spends alot of time helping new models and offering advice making her the perfect role model for anyone wishing to get into the industry. Jade was offered alot of topless work with national magazines and newspapers after her win, however she stuck to her guns and refuses to work above the lingerie levels gaining alot of respect in doing so. Instantly signed on the spot after her win to new model agency Kerri Parker International, you can expect big things from Jade in her year as the winner, and after she hands over her title later this year.
